Come see the University's own Little Shop of Horrors! Be one of the lucky students to tour the carnivorous plants section of the University greenhouses with Professor Robert Skirvin, famous for his apple and chocolate tasting labs. The tour will be held at the University of Illinois Plant Science Lab, located on Dorner Drive just south of CRCE; please meet in the lobby. Registration is limited to 12 participants, so sign up now! *Lunch is not included*

Join us at the HoHo on Monday, February 27 at noon for an energizing power lunch with Professor David Ruzic, Bliss Professor in the College of Engineering and Director of the Center for Plasma Material Interactions.

Get ready for a trip down south to New Orleans when we eat out this Thursday at the new restaurant J Gumbo's! You'll be bewitched by the Voodoo Nachos and more traditional dishes such as gumbo and jambalaya. The spices of Creole cooking are the perfect way to blast away the winter chill, so meet us at the Honors House at 4:50 (with some money) and we'll walk over together.

CHP is pulling out all the stops for the Halloween party. Join us October 27th from 7-9 pm for pumpkin carving, a no-hands apple eating contest, a piñata, s’mores, and, of course, plenty of candy. There will also be a costume contest with prizes for the winners! Additionally, the film U of I vs. the Mummy, a locally made film, will be played. Please bring your own pumpkin or $5 if you want to carve a pumpkin. If that isn’t enough, come and see Kenny stab some apples with his stake!
