Krannert Dress Rehearsal Series

The Krannert Center for the Performing Arts is an educational and performing arts complex located at 500 South Goodwin Street in Urbana. Students may register for Krannert Dress Rehearsal (KDR) events on the events calendar.

Students are required to attend one Krannert Dress Rehearsal to fulfill Campus Honors Program (CHP) requirements, but may attend additional performances as space is available. To receive CHP credit, students must attend the lecture and performance. The lecture starts at 6:30 p.m. and is held in the Krannert Room. Event tickets will be distributed following the lecture.

“An American Daughter” (Wendy Wasserstein play) – Wednesday, October 3; 6:30 p.m.
"A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum” (Book by Burt Shevelove and Larry Gelbart) – Wednesday, October 17; 6:30 p.m.
“La Boheme” (Puccini opera) – Wednesday, October 24; 6:30 p.m.
“November Dance: Dancing 50: Moving Forward, Looking Back” (dance performance) – Wednesday, November 7; 6:30 p.m.

If you need to cancel a registration, please delete your submission using the link in the confirmation email, and contact the CHP at Doing so may allow another student the opportunity to fulfill a cocurricular requirement.
