Approximately 600 undergraduate students at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign participate in the Campus Honors Program (CHP). These students, designated Chancellor’s Scholars, represent all colleges and a huge variety of disciplines on campus. They take several small, intensive, and collaborative courses in a wide range of fields. Chancellor’s Scholars also participate in co-curricular experiences, including domestic or international travel courses as well as campus and community exploration. The CHP is for students who desire a broad and general as well as specialized education.
Have a wonderful, happy, healthy summer, Chancellor’s Scholars! Whether you are conducting CHP-supported research or travel, going on the CHP travel course to Yellowstone, working a job or internship, and/or relaxing, we know you’ll make the most of it. The Honors House is open this summer–please make use of it if you are on campus or visiting!
And, you know we’ll be here with another wonderful lineup of seminar-style classes, co-curriculars, event programming, and plenty of snacks this fall. 2023-2024 is going to be amazing.
