The Campus Honors Program strives to provide exceptional student scholars and leaders with the opportunity to develop their unique skills and experience the best education. With the support of our alumni and friends, we have been able to provide scholarships, guest speakers for the annual Keith Kelroy Convocation, Intercultural Study Tours, field trips, artistic opportunities, and complete much-needed Honors House renovations. Support can be directed to a specific purpose, or as an unrestricted donation that will enable us to use your gift where it is needed most. Thank you for your support of the Campus Honors Program. Currently we have the following giving options, all of which directly benefit hundreds of the most talented students from all colleges at the University of Illinois. You will see each in a drop-down menu after clicking “Give Now” here below.
Campus Honors Program Unrestricted Fund – This fund supports our entire extracurricular portfolio, including Honors Student Council programming open to all students, intellectual enrichment such as Lunch and Learns with faculty and administrators, field trips, special items for the Honors House (technology upgrades, kitchen items, furnishings).
Campus Honors Program Directors Fund – This fund defrays costs for students to participate in CHP activities, including study-away opportunities and other activities that might limit students with insufficient resources. The fund also supports specific activities for students.
Kelroy Fund – The family of Keith Kelroy, a former Chancellor’s Scholar, established this fund in his memory to support our annual Keith Kelroy Convocation event. Students receive a gift book and meet the author for a lively presentation and discussion. The funds support the book purchase and author visit to campus.
E. Graham Evans, Jr. Scholarship Fund – Alum Matt Rodriguez created this fund in honor of former University of Illinois mathematics professor Graham Evans. Monies support a scholarship each year for one first-year Chancellor’s Scholar majoring in mathematics.
Sonia Carringer and Carol Malmgren Student Activities Fund – This fund, endowed by alum Paul Francisco, provides unrestricted support of a wide range of activities for the Chancellor’s Scholars, funding programming and resources.
