The Campus Honors Program primarily invites incoming freshmen to become Chancellor’s Scholars. Current freshmen also have the opportunity to apply to the program immediately after their first semester. Details for both of these paths to Campus Honors are given below. Please note: We do not accept students to the program after freshman year.
For Incoming Freshmen
The UIUC Undergraduate Admissions Application Form serves as your application to college- and campus-level honors programs. Please complete the Campus Honors Program Supplemental Application Form only if you would like to provide additional information to the Campus Honors Program beyond what is provided on the UIUC Undergraduate Admissions Application. Please email the completed supplemental application form to chp@illinois.edu. The supplemental application deadline is December 1.

For Current Freshmen
Please complete the offcycle application form if you are a current freshman and began attending the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in the fall semester. Please email your completed application to chp@illinois.edu. We will begin accepting applications on November 1st. Applications are due on or before March 6, 2026.
