In addition to taking our travel courses, CHP students can roam closer to home on one-day field trips. Popular past destinations have included sites in Chicago and around the state. Our trip to Symphony Center in Fall 2022 (photo here below) was so popular that we returned in October 2023! We heard the Chicago Symphony Orchestra perform Beethoven’s Fifth, after a highly entertaining and informative short presentation by longtime CSO violist Max Raimi. As ever, we finished up our evening in Chicago with a delicious dinner at Pizano’s.
