Scholarships and Grants

Merit Scholarships

Thanks to the campus commitment to excellence, the Campus Honors Program (CHP) awards Chancellor’s Scholars $1,000 per year, split into $500 of support each semester, for up to eight semesters, with the following requirements and restrictions:

  • Students must be in good academic standing with the CHP.
  • Students must meet U.S. residency requirements related to the ability to accept tuition awards.
  • If a student receives other tuition waivers or scholarships that are restricted to covering tuition, the CHP scholarship will need to be reduced/canceled, as the total value cannot exceed the assessed tuition at Illinois.
